About
With my operation, The Heart V, I have been actively working to build connections and opportunity for the community to ride with exceptional horsemen.
With my passion for horsemanship, I have found myself in love with the (expensive) sport of reined cowhorse, which has led me to the connection with Justin and Kelcie Lawrence, which brought forth this opportunity to host this clinic.
This event is marketed as an opportunity for horsemen entering futurity horses in the Black Hills Stock Show in September, to ride with a founding member of the South Dakota Reined Cowhorse Association prior to the stock show.With this standard, requires an exceptional facility with exceptional footing which led me immediately to Dickinson State University.
The next clinic scheduled is for October 2,3,4th in Watford City ND with Dwight Hill, featuring a ranch roping and horsemanship clinic ending with a three man ranch roping competition with buckles awarded to the winning team. Teams are assigned by Dwight balancing professional, amateur, and novice skill levels for a fun competitive experience.
With success from this event, Heart V is hoping to facilitate a clinic series in the region with various professionals to further support skill mastery, sport development and community partnership.

Justin Lawrence Fundamental Cowhorse Clinic August 8 & 9
Hosted at the Dale Little Soldier Arena at Dickinson State University, this event showcases the great facilities western North Dakota has to offer, with the sold out clinic drawing athletes from Minnesota, Montana and North Dakota. Friends of the Clinic Series cover insurance costs, arena management, stock contractors, arena rental and tractor rental.
The Heart V is investing into this event, and is not profiting from any aspect of this apart from community building, skill building and networking opportunities.
Dwight Hill Ranch Roping Clinic October 2,3,&4
Watford City, ND
Friends of the Clinic Series cover insurance costs, arena management, stock contractors, arena rental and tractor rental.
This clinic hosts a proam style 3 man roping featuring buckle sponsors.
Buckles are $250 each. Sponsors name listed on Buckle and advertising materials

This is an annual contribution which goes towards the costs of hosting clinics. Some clinics offer additional sponsorship opportunities such as arena signage, buckles and apparel.
My hope is to partner with producers, horsemen and facilities to nurture a healthy community and industry.
